NYC

I work in large office building in New York City (Manhattan).

The problem with that is that I am probably the only person to the right of Chairman Mao there. What is worse is the preachy and intolerant nature of the left-wingers there who assume that they can broadcast their beliefs; anyone who disagrees is labelled, loudly, a bigot by them.

I had an office mate (O.M. for short--or, as I called her when I didn't want her to know I was talking about her right in front of her, Omy) for a short period of time. The most intolerant type of liberal jewish chick, the kind of strident bitch you often find working as a lawyer in NYC.

This woman was actually stupid enough to believe Sarah Palin said you could see Russia from her house, and thought Jon Stewart was some sort of genius, instead of the snivelling cowardly ass that he is. The kind who thinks women's studies and feminism are a valid course of study and philosophy, respectively.

Omy was the source of much of my humor and derision (secretly) while I was in her office. Thankfully, they moved me out to my own place; I may have tried to kill her had I stayed.

Omy is the source of much of my humor here, or so I plan her to be.
